Dear Dave I want to thank you soooooo much for all the time you have spent with me and to make such Beautiful marbles with my husbands ashes. It took me a very long time to work out what I wanted to do with a little bit of the ashes to keep with me for ever, Having them in a box started to eat at me, I hated thinking that was him in there. So I started looking for things to do with the ashes that would last forever. Walter knew I loved glass marbles so I looked and looked and everyone was about money and this is what we do so choose a color. I dont expect people to understand what I am going through but have a little time please. Then I was online and found www.memorialsinglass.com I called the number and Dave answered I felt something different this time, He had time to tell me how the process is and how he would look after my husbands ashes with respect and then asked what did I want done and made me a part of his work. The hardest thing for me was to open the ashes, Ahhhhh 8 hours later and on the floor of my house thinking what am I doing ??? But then I called Dave and he told me what they would look like and then I was calm. I knew I wanted to get mini marbles made, Walter knew I loved them so much.... So I sent the package off, Every few days Dave would update me of the process and before I knew it they were back. For the first time in a very long time I smiled. The ashes had been taken care of with love and respect and my marbles are beyond beautiful. I never thought out of something so ugly could be something sooooo beautiful. And yes every time I look at them for that moment in time I am happy again. Spread the Sunshine Kellie Los Angeles California
I had recently lost my beloved father and his wish was to be cremated, when I received the ashes from the funeral home they were in a plastic box. It seemed so cold and sterile and I did not know what to do with them so I started looking for something to put his ashes in like a nice glass urn. My father loved glass and fine glass art, while looking for the urn I found memorialsinglass, com and thought what a fantastic product and knew My dad would love it. A few days later I contacted Dave Jordan at Memorials In Glass, Dave was very helpful and understanding about my questions just talking to Dave made me feel that My dad's ashes would be handled with care and respect. Dave sent a cremains kit and it made it very easy for me to handle the ashes. As soon as Dave received the ashes he called me to let me know that they were safe. And in no time I received an absolutely beautiful marble for my desk and a amazing dichroic pendant that I wear all the time and receive complements on every day I wear it. My Father is gone from me but now I have a very special memorial to remind me of his love and care he took of me. Thank You. A.A New York.
My Mother passed away in 2002 at age 97 she was cremated and my sister had herd of a process where the ashes were put into glass somehow, we searched and searched for some one who could do this. My cousin was on vacation out in Colorado and found this little glass blowing studio way up in the mountains in Lake City. Her whole family spent a lot of time in Dave's studio watching him make glass and custom pieces for them she said it was like magic, and what a great artist Dave is. While they were talking the subject came up about the ashes and Dave gave her a card that described the process. She called me that night and said guess what we found, This Guy Is Amazing . I contacted Dave Jordan at memorialsinglass.com Dave was very kind and understanding about our questions and made us feel very comfortable about having this done. We had Dave make pendants and hearts for Me my daughters and my sister and nieces They were so beautiful it made us all cry and remember Gram she was always so loving and she sparkled like the pieces Dave made for us. We highly recommend Dave at Memorials In Glass. The Turner family Texas
